If anything else crops up you should know about, I will let you know.įollow me on Twitter, on Facebook, and on Tumblr. The wonders of technology!įor now, Battlefront, XBL messages and Twitch chat appear to be spoiler hotzones. Now people are spoiling the film in ways I could have never even have imagined. Not just because I wanted to see it so badly I didn’t want to wait another day or two, but because I thought that one the general public saw it, avoiding spoilers would get 100 times more difficult. And I would highly recommend not going near Twitch chat until you’ve seen the film, as a zillion people posting word vomit a minute means two words of spoilers can slip in and ruin your day, even if they’re quickly erased.Īll of this, combined with new “creative” spoiling tactics like Battlefront avatars and XBL messages is half the reason I ran out to see the movie opening night.

Most news sites are being pretty respectful about either not discussing spoilers from the film at all, or at least being very, very clear about labeling them. Even in the wake of seeing Star Wars: The Force Awakens and being carefree about seeing spoilers for the film, I still have had to look hard to see any across the internet.
